Web Usage (Last 7 Days) report
Depending on the permissions associated with your user role, this report may not be available.
The Web Usage (Last 7 Days) report shows the web activity on your Windows

Web Usage (Last 7 Days): shows the average time spent on each visited website over the past 7 days, averaged across all applicable devices
From this view, you can open a chart to compare usage over time for selected websites.

On the Reports page, you can access this report from Absolute view or the Events category.

The report includes web activity detected in the Chrome browser of supported Windows
After the Web Usage policy is activated on a device, you'll need to wait a day to see web usage data in the report. After a few days, if there is less activity than expected, ensure that all prerequisites are met for all devices.


The report shows a default collection of information organized in the following columns:

Weekly usage > Daytime |
A calculation of the time spent on the website between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. on weekdays (local device time A date and time expressed in a device's local time zone, as opposed to server time. In the console, local device time applies to usage data collected from devices, and the scheduling of some device action requests.) Usage is calculated for the past 7 days, averaged across all devices that accessed the website. You can change the default time ranges to suit your needs. |

Devices |
The percentage (and number) of devices that visited the website over the past 7 days Percentages are based on the total number of devices that reported web usage during the time period. This number is reflected in the device count under the percentage (for example, 267 of 800). Click a percentage to view the devices that visited a website over the past 7 days. |

You can use website names and web categories to search for report information. You can also include additional information in the report by adding more columns.

By default, the report data is sorted by the Devices column, in descending order. You can change the sort order by clicking a column heading.

Depending on the Absolute licenses associated with your account, and your user role, you may be able to perform some or all of the following tasks on the Web Usage (Last 7 Days) report:
- Open and view the report
- Search for and view individual websites in the report
- Adjust the columns on the report
- Add or remove filters
- Export the report
- Email the report on a set schedule
- Favorite the report
- Save changes to report filters and columns to create a custom view or a new report

From the Web Usage report, you can select websites to add to the Web Subscriptions report. This report helps you understand the return on investment of your current website subscriptions.
You can also add websites while you are working with the Web Subscriptions report.
To add websites to the Web Subscriptions report:
- Log in to the Secure Endpoint Console as a user with Manage permissions for Web Subscriptions.
- On the Web Usage (Last 7 Days) report, select the checkbox next to each website that you want to add to the Web Subscriptions report.
- Click Add to Web Subscriptions. The websites are added to the report.
- Navigate to the Web Subscriptions report and add subscription information for each website.

To view more detailed information about individual webpages that were visited during the past 7 days, click the applicable link in the Website title column. You can also access this report by clicking the applicable link in the Webpage title column of the Web Usage (Trending) report.
The report shows a default collection of information organized in the following columns:

Depending on the permissions associated with your user role, you may not be able to view the list of devices that visited a website.
To view the time spent by each device that visited a website during the past 7 days, click the website's percentage link in the Devices column of the Web Usage (Last 7 Days) report. The website's Device Details report opens to show a default collection of information organized in the following columns:
- Device name The name assigned to the device in the operating system. For Chromebooks, device name is not applicable and therefore shows as "Chrome" in the Secure Endpoint Console.
- Weekly usage > Total: the total time that the device spent on the website over the past 7 days
- Weekly usage > Daytime: the total time that the device spent on the website between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. on weekdays (local device time A date and time expressed in a device's local time zone, as opposed to server time. In the console, local device time applies to usage data collected from devices, and the scheduling of some device action requests.) over the past 7 days
- Weekly usage > Evenings and weekends: the total time that the device spent on the website between 3 p.m. and 9 a.m. on weekdays, and all day on weekends (local device time) over the past 7 days
- Device usage: The weekly usage of a device, averaged over the 30 days prior to the most recent agent check-in and expressed in total hours and minutes. Note that any days with no usage are not included in the calculation. This column applies only to devices with an activated Device Usage policy.

Username: the username of the logged in user
If multiple users performed web activity on a device, the column shows a count. Hover over the count to view the usernames in a tooltip.
- Make The manufacturer of a device.
- Model The manufacturer's designated name for the type of device.
- Device group The name of the device group that the device belongs to.
You can use most of the device information as search criteria to search for a device, or a group of devices. You can also include additional information in the report by adding more columns.
