Upcoming Offline Device Freeze report

The Upcoming Offline Device Freeze report shows all Windows and Mac devices with an activated Offline Freeze rule, and the date each device will be frozen if it remains offline. Specifically, the report uses each device's Last connected The date and time when a device's Secure Endpoint Agent last checked in to the Absolute Monitoring Center. date to calculate the date when the device will be frozen if it doesn't check in before its offline timer After an Offline Freeze rule is activated on a device, the offline timer starts counting down on the device. With each successful agent check-in the timer resets. If a device does not check in before the timer expires, the device is frozen. The length of the timer in days is specified in the rule configuration. expires. This date shows in the report's Expected freeze date column.

Example

An Offline Freeze rule is assigned to a device. The rule's offline timer is set to 7 days. When you review the Upcoming Offline Device Freeze report today, you see that the device hasn't checked in for 4 days, so the report shows an Expected freeze date of 3 days from now.
Tomorrow morning, the device checks in, so its offline timer is reset. When you review the report that afternoon, the device's Expected freeze date has been updated to show a date 7 days in the future.

Note that this report includes devices with an Offline Freeze status set to Set. Devices with the following statuses are not shown:

  • Pending
  • Frozen - Timer Expired
  • Frozen
