Viewing an application's device list

You can filter the device list to show the information you're most interested in.

For example, if you're trying to get an application back into compliance, you can filter a list of non-compliant installations by reason to isolate devices that may require the same type of remediation.

To filter the device list:

1. [Optional] To collapse the Charts area, click Show less.
2. Click to view the list of supported filter criteria.

3. Add the applicable filters.

   For example:

   • To filter devices by application version, do either of the following:

     • Click the Version quick filter and do one of the following:
       • Select each applicable version.

       • Click Select All.

       To remove all selections, click Clear.

     • In the Charts area, click the applicable section of the Version chart or legend.

     The device list refreshes.

   • To filter non-compliant installations by reason:

     1. Click and click the icon next to Application Compliance
     2. Click Status details.
     3. Leave the condition set to is and select one or more reasons in the last field.
     4. Click Apply. The device list updates to show the devices that match the filter criteria.

You can view additional details about the compliance status of a device's application without leaving the device list.

You can also view information about the individual applications installed on a device on the Installed Applications report or a device's Device Details > Applications page.

To view application compliance details for a device:

1. [Optional] To collapse the Charts area, click Show less.

2. Click the row of a device with an active application policy.

   A dialog opens on the right.

   The dialog shows the following information about the device and the application:

   • Device name The name assigned to the device in the operating system. For Chromebooks, device name is not applicable and therefore shows as "Chrome" in the Secure Endpoint Console., serial number The identification number assigned to the device by the device manufacturer. For Windows devices, this value may correspond to the serial number of the BIOS, the motherboard, or the chassis, depending on the manufacturer., username Username of the user who was logged in to the device when an agent connection occurred. If no user was logged in during the most recent agent connection, the last detected username shows. If you are viewing a report and want to see if a user was logged in during the most recent connection, add the Current Username column to the report. If no user was logged in at the time of the connection, "No Data" or two em dashes (— —) show in the column., and policy group A collection of devices to which a set of policies are applied.
   • Encryption status The detected status of a Windows or Mac device with respect to the installation of a full-disk encryption product. Possible values are: Encrypted, Used Space Encrypted, Not Encrypted, Suspended, Encryption In Progress, Decryption in Progress, Not Detected and No Data. and last connected The date and time when a device's component manager last connected to the Absolute Monitoring Center.    • Detected application name, publisher A company or organization selling software applications that is detected by a device's Secure Endpoint Agent and reported in the Secure Endpoint Console., and version
   • Application compliance status
   • Last scan: date and time the Secure Endpoint Agent last scanned the device for installed application information

   • Last compliance change: date and time when the application's compliance status last changed

   • Application policy name and type (REQUIRED/RESILIENT), along with the status of each policy requirement

     Status icon	Details
     	The application policy requirement was met
     	The application policy requirement was not met for the reasons provided, and the application installation has a status of Non-compliant

3. To view the device's Device Details page, click View Device.
4. Click to close the dialog.

At the top of the page below the application name, you can view and quickly access any active application policies that are applied to the application:

• If there is only one application policy applied to the application, the name of the policy shows next to the icon (for example, ).

• If there are numerous policies applied to the application, the number of policies shows next to the icon (for example, ).

Hover over the icon to view the policies' name, type, and version requirement in a tooltip. You can then click a policy to view or edit its details.

To create an application policy for this application, click Create Policy.

You can work with an application's device list view in the following ways:

• To add or remove columns, click > Edit columns.
• To save your changes and create a custom view of the page, click > Save columns. Your custom view persists until you revert to the page's default view. To revert to default view, click > Reset columns.
• To save changes as a new report, click (Save as report).

  Your new user-defined report is added to the Reports area. To identify the application in the report, the Application name and Publisher columns are automatically included.

You can export an application's device list to a report in CSV, Excel, or XML format. If desired, you can filter the device list before exporting it.

To export the device list, click (Export).

To identify the application in an exported report, the Application name and Publisher columns are automatically included.
