Viewing an application's device list

You can filter the device list to show the information you're most interested in.

For example, you can filter a list of unhealthy devices by their unhealthy reason, allowing you to see the devices that may require the same remediation to update the application's health status to Healthy.

To filter the device list:

1. [Optional] To collapse the Charts area, click Hide charts.
2. Click to view the list of supported filter criteria.

3. Add the applicable filters.

   For example:

   • To filter devices by application version, do either of the following:

     • Click the Version quick filter do one of the following:
       • Select each applicable version.

       • Click Select All.

       To remove all selections, click Clear.

     • In the Charts area, click the applicable section of the Version chart or legend.

     The device list refreshes.

   • To filter devices by health status, do either of the following:

     • Click the Health quick filter and select the applicable status.
     • In the Charts area, click the applicable section of the Health chart or legend.

     The device list refreshes.

   • To filter unhealthy devices by their unhealthy reason:

     1. Ensure that the Health quick filter is set to Any or Unhealthy.
     2. Click and click the icon next to Application Health.
     3. Click Unhealthy reason.
     4. Leave the condition set to is and select one or more unhealthy reasons in the Select Value field. The device list updates to show the devices that match the filter criteria.

You can view additional details about the health of a device's application without leaving the device list.

You can also view information about the individual applications installed on a device on the Installed Applications report or a device's Device Details > Applications page.

To view application health details for a device:

1. [Optional] To collapse the Charts area, click Show less.

2. Click the background of a device's row.

   A dialog opens on the right.

   The dialog shows the following information about the device and the application:

   • Device name The name assigned to the device in the operating system. For Chromebooks, device name is not applicable and therefore shows as "Chrome" in the Secure Endpoint Console., serial number The identification number assigned to the device by the device manufacturer. For Windows devices, this value may correspond to the serial number of the BIOS, the motherboard, or the chassis, depending on the manufacturer., username Username of the user who was logged in to the device when an agent connection occurred. If no user was logged in during the most recent agent connection, the last detected username shows. If you are viewing a report and want to see if a user was logged in during the most recent connection, add the Current Username column to the report. If no user was logged in at the time of the connection, "No Data" or two em dashes (— —) show in the column., and policy group A collection of devices to which a set of policies are applied.
   • Encryption status The detected status of a Windows or Mac device with respect to the installation of a full-disk encryption product. Possible values are: Encrypted, Used Space Encrypted, Not Encrypted, Suspended, Encryption In Progress, Decryption in Progress, Not Detected and No Data. and last connected The date and time when a device's component manager last connected to the Absolute Monitoring Center. For online devices, the component manager connects every 15 minutes. Also see component manager (CTES). date and time
   • Detected application name, publisher A company or organization selling software applications that is detected by a device's Secure Endpoint Agent and reported in the Secure Endpoint Console., and version
   • Health status
   • Last health scan: date and time when the application's health was last checked

   • Last health changed: date and time when the application's health was last updated

     Status of each completed health check

     Status icon	Details
     	The health check passed. No issues were found. Possible values are: Installed Running (applies to select resilient applications only) Configured (applies to supported anti-malware and full disk encryption applications only)
     	The health check failed for the reasons provided, and the application has a status of Unhealthy In some cases, additional details, such as the name of the problematic file, process, or service, are provided to help you troubleshoot the Unhealthy status. For example: Service file does not exist: CSFalconService
     No icon	The health check is not supported for this application

3. To view the device's Device Details page, click View Device.
4. Click to close the dialog.

You can work with an application's device list view in the following ways:

• To add or remove columns, click > Edit columns.
• To save your changes and create a custom view of the page, click > Save columns. Your custom view persists until you revert to the page's default view. To revert to default view, click > Reset columns.
• To save changes as a new report, click (Save as report).

  Your new user-defined report is added to the Reports area. To identify the application in the report, the Application name and Publisher columns are automatically included.

You can export an application's device list to a report in CSV, Excel, or XML format. If desired, you can filter the device list before exporting it.

To export the device list, click (Export).

To identify the application in an exported report, the Application name and Publisher columns are automatically included. If the Application Health feature is enabled, an Unhealthy reason column is also added.
