Using the Dashboard
The Dashboard displays a collection of widgets that show metrics of interest for your account. Most widgets link to a related report. You can also search for devices from the Dashboard.
There are up to three different views of each widget: Summary, Standard, and Detailed, with each view showing progressively more detailed information.
Widgets display information for active devices that have checked in. If a device has yet to check in, its data is in a pending state. A widget categorizes that data as Pending or No Data.
The information that is displayed in the widgets is updated only when you reload the page or refresh the view of a widget.

To view the Dashboard, click on the navigation bar. You can also click the Absolute logo to jump to the Dashboard.

To view data in the Device Usage widget, your user role needs to be granted View permissions for Dashboard - Security. All default Administrator roles and the Security Power User role are granted this permission.
To view data in all other widgets, your user role needs to be granted View permissions for Dashboard - Inventory.

You can add or remove widgets from the Dashboard. You can also reposition widgets by dragging them to the location of your choice. The view and position of the widget is saved.
Although you can display an unlimited number of widgets, note that the dashboard may take longer to load with more than 20 widgets.
From the Settings icon in the top-right corner of each widget, you can do the following:
- Click
to refresh the data in a widget.
- Toggle between Summary, Standard, and Detailed views.
- Click
to remove the widget from the Dashboard.
- Open the widget's Advanced Settings to customize its data.
