Encryption Status widget
The Encryption Status widget provides on the Dashboard an overview of the encryption status and full-disk encryption (FDE) products that the Secure Endpoint Agent has detected on your Windows and Mac devices. You can view the data grouped by application or policy group.
Each device's Secure Endpoint Agent performs an hourly ESP scan. If a change is detected, the new information is uploaded on the device's next agent connection, which is typically within the next 15 minutes if the device is online.
Possible encryption statuses are:
- Encrypted: includes devices with one of the following encryption statuses:
- Not Encrypted: includes devices with one of the following encryption statuses:
- Not Encrypted
- Not Detected
- Decryption in Progress
- Pending: encryption status is not yet available (waiting for devices to check in to the Absolute Monitoring Center)
- In Progress: includes Windows devices with an encryption status of Encryption in Progress
To view data in this widget, the Full-Disk Encryption Status policy must be activated in one or more policy groups.

To change the widget title or customize the widget data, open Advanced Settings.

Trend view is available in Detailed view only. Click the icon to compare changes in your devices' encryption status over time. Indicators next to each percentage show upward and downward trends. You can set this view to show trends over the last 30, 60, or 90 days. To change the displayed period of time, click the link under the widget title and select last 30 days (default), last 60 days, or last 90 days.
Move your mouse cursor over the chart to see the encryption status of devices on a particular day. For each day, you will see the number and percentage of devices with these statuses: Encrypted, Not Encrypted, and Pending.
Note that you can't navigate to the Full-Disk Encryption Status report from trend view.
