Anti-Malware widget
The Anti-Malware widget on the Dashboard shows information about the anti-malware applications detected on your active Windows and Mac devices.
Each device's Secure Endpoint Agent performs an hourly anti-malware scan. If a change is detected, the new anti-malware information is uploaded on the device's next agent connection, which is typically within the next 15 minutes if the device is online.
Note the following distinctions based on operating system:
- Windows: If at least one anti-malware application is Active on a device, it is reported as Protected. If all applications are Inactive or Disabled, or none are detected, the device is reported as Not protected. To view information about all detected applications, including their status, go to the device's Device Details page.
- Mac: If at least one anti-malware application is detected on a device, it is reported as Protected. When no applications are detected, the device is reported as Not protected. To view information about all detected applications, go to the device's Device Details page.
The Secure Endpoint Agent can't detect the status of an anti-malware application on a Mac device.
