Importing device field data

If you want to update one or more device fields for multiple devices, you can import a file of device data and update all of the devices at the same time.

You can create your own CSV file of device data, or you can export a report from the Secure Endpoint Console, edit the data in the file, and then import the updated file. Before you export a report, ensure that you've included all custom field columns that you want to update.

If your file contains device fields that can't be edited by file import, or the data type is not supported by the associated custom field, the file import succeeds, but the invalid data is not imported. Any data that can't be imported shows on the file import confirmation message.
