Freeze message editor tools

Use the following tools to create the message that shows on a frozen device:

Undo the last change

Redo the last change that was undone

Select Font

Specify the font to apply to text

Click the icon and select one of eight web safe fonts. If a font is not available on a device, an alternate font of the same font type is used.

Set the size of the text

Bold text

Italicize text

Underline text

Set a text color

Select a text highlight color

Create a list

Click the icon and select a bulleted or numbered list.

Set the alignment of a paragraph

Click the icon and select right, center, or left aligned.

Depending on the configuration of your account, this tool may not be available.

Insert an image from the image library

Click the icon to open the Insert Images dialog. From this dialog you can view and manage the images stored in the image library associated with your Absolute account.

To insert an image from your image library, select an image and click Insert Image. You can insert up to five (5) images.

To add a new image to your image library, drag an image from any location and drop it in the dialog. Alternatively, you can click Upload Images and navigate to and select the image you want to upload to the image library.

To delete an image from your image library, mouse over the image and click .

Deleting an image from the image library does not impact any messages that are currently using the deleted image.

Insert an image using a URL

Click the icon and enter the complete URL of the image you want to insert. You can insert any image that resides on the internet ( URL address must include http: or https:). Absolute creates a copy of the image and stores it for use in the message. It is recommended that you only use images that you own, or public domain images.

Insert a table

Click the icon, enter values for Rows and Columns, and click Create Table.

Table borders are not visible when the message shows on the device.

To edit a table, do one or more of the following:

  • To merge two or more cells, select the cells, hover over , and click Merge Cells.
  • To split a merged cell, click the cell, hover over , and click Split Cell.
  • To insert a new row, click the row adjacent to where you want to insert the new row, hover over , and click Insert Row Before or Insert Row After.
  • To insert a new column, click the column adjacent to where you want to insert the new column, hover over , and click Insert Column Before or Insert Column After.
  • To delete a row, click a cell in the row, hover over , and click Delete Row.
  • To delete a column, click a cell in the column, hover over , and click Delete Column.
  • To the delete the table, hover over and click Delete Table.
