Event History report
NOTE Depending on the Absolute product licenses associated with your user role, the Event History report may not be available.
You can use the Event History report to see a history of the devices on which one or more of the following Device Action requests were submitted, depending on the device's operating system:
Operating system | Device Action requests |
---|---|
Windows |
All new, pending, and completed:
|
Mac |
All new, pending, and completed:
|
Chromebook | All new, pending, and completed Freeze and Remove Freeze requests |
NOTE To view the status of other Device Action requests, such as File Delete and Wipe, go to Action History.
By default, the report shows information about all requests that have changed status in the past seven (7) days, but you can update the report's filters to show more or less data.
A user submitted a Freeze request for a device yesterday and the request is now processed. Two events will show on the page: one dated yesterday with a status of Freeze Requested and a newer one with a status of Frozen. The Event ID for both events is the same. |
On the Reports page, you can access this report from Absolute view or the Events category.
The Event History report applies to devices running any supported operating system.
By default, the following filters are used to generate this report:

Event Status Date and Time within last 7 Days and

You can also create a customized version of the report by adding filters based on one or more filter criteria. For example, you can filter the report to show only those Freeze requests submitted by a particular user.
