Accessing the EDD Rules area

To access the Endpoint Data Discovery area:

  1. Log in to the Absolute console as a user with Manage permissions for Endpoint Data Discovery.
  2. On the navigation bar, click > EDD Rules.
  3. The list of existing custom Endpoint Data Discovery (EDD) rules shows in the sidebar.

    From this page, you can create, edit, and delete EDD rules. You can also publish them to Policies for use in an EDD scan.

    NOTE  Depending on the permissions associated with your user role, and the Absolute product licenses associated with your account, the Endpoint Data Discovery area may not be available.
