Viewing the status of Application Resilience policies
Depending on the Absolute product licenses associated with your account, Application Resilience policies may not be supported, or the number or type of applications that you can configure may be limited. For example, for policy groups assigned an Absolute Ransomware Response license (base or add-on), you can activate policies for up to two (2) Endpoint Management or Endpoint Protection applications only.
Application Resilience⢠is a key feature that monitors the health of select third party applications installed on the Windows devices in your Absolute account. More specifically, it allows you to validate and maintain the resiliency of these applications in the following ways:
- Report on the functional status of the application's essential components
- Determine if the device is compliant by comparing the current state of the application with the desired state (as defined in the Application Resilience policy configurations)
- Repair components that are non-functional or non-compliant (for most applications, requires Absolute Resilience license)
- Reinstall the application if it was removed or failed to be repaired (for most applications, requires Absolute Resilience license)
