Application Persistence policies for Microsoft Defender for Endpoint

Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, formerly known as Windows Defender ATP, is a holistic, cloud-delivered endpoint security solution. Its capabilities include risk-based vulnerability management and assessment, attack surface reduction, behavior-based next-generation protection, endpoint detection and response (EDR), automatic investigation and remediation, managed hunting services, rich APIs, and unified security management.

You can activate an Application Persistence policy to collect information about the functional status of Defender for Endpoint installed on your Windows devices and view the results in reports. You can also configure the policy to attempt to repair Defender for Endpoint.
