Sharing reports
You can share read-only versions of your user-defined reports A report created using the Save As report option to save your report customizations to a new report. User-defined reports show in My Reports view of the Reports page. Also see "predefined report". with other users, and other users can share their reports with you.
You can see all of the reports that you can share in My Reports view. To see the reports that other users have shared with you, go to Shared with me view.
You can't share a predefined report A report that is available by default for all customer accounts. You can access your predefined reports in Absolute view of the Reports page. Also see "user-defined report". or a shared report A read-only report that another user has shared with you. Shared reports show in "Shared with me" view of the Reports page..

By default, user-defined reports can't be viewed by other users, but you can use the Share feature to share individual reports with all other users in your account. When you edit a report that you've shared, the report is automatically updated for all other users.
In the current release, you can't share a report with individual users. A shared report is always made available to all users in your account. If a user is not granted the permission to view a report that you've shared, the report is not added to their Shared with me view.
After you share a report, other users can:

see the report listed in their Shared with me view of the Reports page.
- open the report in read-only mode.
- export the report.
- save the report as a new report that they can edit.
To share a user-defined report:
- On the navigation bar, click
Reports.

In the page's Search Reports field, enter the name of the report. The report list updates dynamically as you type.
Alternatively, click My Reports to show the list of reports you've created.

To the right of the report name, click
(Share) or click
(Actions) > Share. Alternatively, if you've already opened the report, click
(Share) on the action toolbar.
If the
(Share) icon is not available, the report is not eligible to be shared.
The icon updates to a (Stop Sharing) icon, and the report is shared with all other users.

To see which reports you've shared:
- On the navigation bar, click
Reports.
- Click My Reports to show the list of user-defined reports you've created.
Reports that you've shared show a (Stop Sharing) icon. Unshared reports show a
(Share) icon.

To stop sharing a report:
- On the navigation bar, click
Reports.

(Stop Sharing) or click
(Actions) > Stop Sharing. Alternatively, you can open the report and click
(Stop Sharing) on the action toolbar.
The icon updates to a (Share) icon, and the report is no longer viewable by other users.

Other users can share their user-defined reports A report created using the Save As report option to save your report customizations to a new report. User-defined reports show in My Reports view of the Reports page. Also see "predefined report". with you. Shared reports show in the Shared with me view of the Reports page. They also show in the report category of the report's parent.
Reports that are shared with you show a (Stop Sharing) icon with the following tooltip:
Shared by <report owner username> (Read Only)
Updated <date>
When the report owner updates the report, the updates are automatically reflected in the shared report. If the report owner deletes the report, or their user account is deleted, the shared report is automatically removed from your Shared with me view.
Note that shared reports are read-only; you can't perform any of the following Report Options on a shared report:
- Edit columns
- Save (to the same report)
- Edit Properties
- Delete
- Schedule
- Share
To work with a shared report:
- On the navigation bar, click
Reports.

Click Shared with me to show the list of all reports that other users have shared with you.
Each shared report shows the username of the user that shared the report and the date the report was last updated.
If your user role is not granted the required permissions to view a particular shared report, the report is not added to your Shared with me view.

Do any of the following:
- To view the report in read-only mode, click the report to open it.
- To favorite a report, click
(Add to Favorites) on the action toolbar.
- To export a report, click
(Export) on the action toolbar.

To save a shared report to a new report that you can edit, click
(Save as) on the action toolbar. The new report is added to My Reports view.
The two reports are not linked. That is, if the report owner updates the shared report, your new report is not updated.
