Getting started with Security reports

Your Absolute account includes a set of predefined reports that show information about the security status of your devices. These reports belong to the Security category and are indicated by the icon. You can access them from Absolute view of the Reports page or the Security category.

Each report includes its own default set of filters and columns that determine the information included in the report. If these default settings don't suit your needs, you can update the report's filters, columns, and sort order and then do either of the following:

  • Use the Save report option to save your changes to the predefined report. This custom view of the report persists until you revert to the report's default settings.
  • Use the Save as report option to save your changes to a new report. The report is automatically added to the My Reports view of the Reports page, and to the report category of the parent report.

Note that if you navigate away from a predefined report without saving your changes in one of the above ways, the report reverts to its default view the next time you open it.

The following Security reports are available:

Report

Description

Anti-Malware

Shows the Windows and Mac devices on which an anti-malware product is installed and detected.

Device Freeze Status

Shows information for all Windows and Mac devices that currently have an outstanding Freeze request or an active Offline Freeze rule.

Full-Disk Encryption Status

Shows the Windows and Mac devices on which full-disk encryption products are detected. It also shows the encryption status of each device's system drive.

Upcoming Offline Device Freeze Shows the Windows and Mac devices with an activated Offline Freeze rule, and the date each device will be frozen if it remains offline.
