Action requests configuration details

On the Action Requests page in the History area, you can view configuration details about a device action request.

To view the device action request details

  1. Open the action request.
  2. In the request summary area, click the link beside Configuration. For example, for an Unenroll request, click View unenroll settings.

The configuration dialog opens.

The following tables show the information included in the configuration dialog for each request type:

Cryptographic Wipe Configuration details
Item Description
Unenroll devices and free licenses Included if the Cryptographic Wipe request was set to unenroll Windows devices on completion
Delete File Configuration details

Delete Files
File information

The files and folders entered in the Filename, folder and path field of the File Delete request
Options
  • The number of times the data was overwritten
  • An indication of whether the Include File Date Attributes in the log file option was selected in the Delete Files request
Delete All Files
Options
  • The number of times the data was overwritten

  • An indication of whether the following options were selected in the Delete All Files request

    • Disable the Windows OS
    • Unenroll devices after the Wipe is complete

File Date Attributes are not included in the log file for Delete All Files.
Freeze Configuration details
Item Description
Freeze the device

When the device should be frozen

  • On-demand Freeze requests: As soon as possible
  • Firmware Freeze requests: As soon as possible - Freeze at Firmware
  • Scheduled Freeze requests: Scheduled for <scheduled date and time>
Freeze message The name of the message
Message Content A preview of the message users see on their device when it is frozen
Unfreeze Code How the unfreeze code is created
Options

Included if Send status updates was set

  • Events: The Freeze events that trigger an email notification
  • Send email: The email addresses that receive the notification
Remove Freeze Configuration details

The options that were selected in the Remove Freeze request

  • Unfreeze frozen devices and cancel pending on-demand freeze requests
  • Cancel pending and downloaded freeze requests scheduled for a future date

  • Scheduled: the date and time the message is scheduled for

    Only shows when On or after a certain date is selected in the Send Message request

  • Options: the options selected when the Send Message request was created
